The firm’s real estate practice includes real estate acquisition and disposition transactions, finance and tax-deferred, §1031 like-kind exchanges.  Combining real estate knowledge, experience in drafting all types of real-estate related agreements, and finance savvy, we advise and assist clients at every phase of real estate acquisition and financing, including debt and equity structuring, joint venture formation and operation, due diligence, title insurance, construction contract negotiation and documentation, closing, implementation and exit strategies.

The firm handles loan transactions for real estate projects of all sizes and types, including loans secured by a broad range of residential and commercial properties, such as office buildings, industrial facilities, retail properties, mixed-use facilities, nursing home/assisted living facilities. We assist clients with the negotiation and drafting of leases, and advising clients regarding various landlord-tenant issues. We provide guidance on how best to structure real estate deals to limit tax exposure and assure compliance with federal, state and local government tax laws.

Mr. Lindley has represented lenders, borrowers and investors, landlords and tenants. Our firm’s clients include local developers and entrepreneurs and other investment vehicles. The firm is experienced in handling a wide array of deals, from straightforward loans to more complex financing arrangements, including EB-5 financing of commercial, residential, mixed use and nursing home/assisted living facilities. Mr. Lindley has structured, negotiated and documented a variety of complex real estate collateralized loans, from initial acquisition of the property, as well as loans to fund construction and financing, including U.S. Housing and Urban Development financing.
